Tryouts
The Hornets are currently looking for experienced players born after July 31, 1996 to join our team for the spring and fall WAGS seasons. The team has a tremendous record of tournament and league success. The licensed coaching staff stresses individual skill development, confidence on the ball and the joy of playing "the beautiful game." The Hornets offer extensive playing time and the opportunity to play several 3v3, 4v4 and 8v8 local and regional tournaments a year. Contact us at bmenge@comcast.net to schedule a try out.
New Assistant Coach
Karen Waskewich has joined the team as Assistant Coach. Karen competed in the Big East as a defensive starter for Georgetown University. She played D1-2 WAGS, Region 1 soccer and has played on the Maryland ODP team. She was HM All-Met in 2003.
Hornet Trainers
The Hornets welcome back Josh Hawksworth from the U.K. Josh represented West Hamm United at U16 & U17 playing alongside current Chelsea and Manchester United players. He played soccer for Canteburry University where he graduated in 2004. Josh obtained his coaching qualifications from the English Football Association (Level 3 and UEFA B), the NSCAA and the Instituto Brasilero de Futbol.
